By Air...

Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH),located in the southern part of the island is named Dionysios Solomos.  It has been named after the national poet of Greece author of the Greek national anthem who was born on the island of Zakynthos.  The airport is only about 4 km away, or a 4 minute car ride, from Village Inn Studios & Family Apartments.  Taxis can be found outside of the arrivals terminal.

Olympic Air flies 1-2 times every day from Athens International Airport (ATH).  EasyJet flies directly from London Gatwick.  Many other charter flights connect the airport of Zakynthos to most European countries on a daily basis.

From Killini:  The ferryboat from Killini, a small harbour in Peloponese approximatelly 1 hour drive south from Patra, departs many times every day all year round.  For more information you may contact:

 Kefalonia:  There is a ferryboat from Kefalonia to Zakynthos island in a daily for the months of June until end of September.  Ferryboat schedules are arranged a month in advance.  The ferryboat from Kefalonia arrives in Agios Nicolaos harbour in Zakynthos, which is in the north part of the island.

From Italy:  Ferry Boats are departing daily from Angona, Bari and Printesi to Patras.  From  Patras is 50 minutes drive by car or bus to Killini harbor in which you can get the  ferry to Zakynthos which takes around one hour and a half to get to Zakynthos. 

The KTEL Bus System connects Zakynthos to the following cities on the greek mainland:
